A Fine Poem For Piggies

Casey heard some squeaks,
Into her room she peaks;
The guinea pigs
Are doing jigs
With carrots in their cheeks!
-L. Garnett

"Well, what do you expect?"

*Note: I don't any of the pictures above... I found them on the web, so they are probably plagiarized... But their still cute!

Luna's house is currently in the process of rehabbing a foreclosed car dealership into a Leed Certified "Animal Care And Education Center". This process, especially going green with it, is rather costly, as you might expect. The estimate cost is $1,759,000. Yes, that means it's in the millions.
Your generous donation

Luna's House needs all the support the can get as they embark on this project; please donate, get your friends to donate, family to donate, everyone you know to support this good cause!

An Intro To Luna's House

I am currently volunteering at the animal rescue "Luna's House", where my two masters, Marconi and Ozzy, recently were adopted from. You'll be hearing lots more about Luna's House on this blog, so here's a quick intro to what Luna's House is:

Luna's House; There's a place on this earth for every animal

Everyone Deserves a Happy Home

Luna’s House, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bettering the lives of animals and their people. Luna’s House thrives on working with individuals and other organizations in the local and regional community to promote widespread humane education and respect for animals.

Luna’s House (LH) has existed as a network of foster homes since its incorporation as a nonprofit in November 2006. As of September 2010, over 1,300 animals have been placed with their forever families through Luna’s House. Thus, LH has averaged approximately 450 adoptions a year...that’s 450 companion animals, as well as 450 adoptive homes, that have been served annually via direct adoption services. LH also assists animal guardians with education on the proper care of their pets, veterinary references, behavioral modification suggestions, and many other resources that improve the life of both the animals and the humans involved.

Luna’s House routinely works with cats; various small mammals including rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas; reptiles; and birds. Full-scale dog and ferret adoption programs will be in place upon the completion of the LH central facility. LH accommodates direct surrenders from animal guardians on a case-by-case basis and is always working with local shelters to take in animals that may otherwise not get the second chance at a happy home they so deserve.

Guinea Pigs R Us???

Everyday, another young master is born in guinea pig land! Obviously, with so many of them, the conquered nations are far and wide, paying homage to their guinea pig over lords.

The First Post

Hello everybody!

I'm "Service 4 Pigs"- guinea pigs! The little rodents have me captured and forced into servitude at their mere squeak or batting of their cute little eyes!  They've taken over my room and turned it into their personal lair (also known as a pig sty)... But good thing for me, they always have room for more personal slaves.

Now I've received orders from my guinea pigs masters that now is the time for us to go online! Luckily, I happened to be taking a Multimedia Presentation class for just that.

If you continue to read this most wonderful guinea-pig-related blog (which I suggest you do- I've heard mentions of their "ebil squeak-ray" coming down from the sky an annihilating anyone who doesn't), you'll be able to read about my genius guinea pigs using my class to take us online! You'll learn about guinea pigs! (Which, by the way, is an amazing topic) You'll get to see our website! And sooo much more; like the "Carrot To Guinea Pig" mind control- um, anyways, thanks for reading my first post!
