So, depending on the season, we've all probably seen dandelion greens growing in our yards. Can the guinea pigs eat them? Definitely! Dandelion greens, clover, and grass are some of the yummiest things the piggies can find (outside anyways).
After recently having bought dandelion greens from a new Wegman's store, I just gave them to the little piggies in place of their usual lettuce. Something new, and I expect rave reviews from the pigs; we shall see!
This blog is about a service project called Produce For Piggies; it also revolves around my mischievous little masters, the guinea pigs of the house!

HARE Club
The Homeschool Animal Rescue and Education Club has had its first meeting, last Friday. We spent most of our time thinking about what we would do if we could build our own animal rescue facility- what we would put into, and so on. There was some crazy ideas, creative ideas, and some ideas that Luna's House has really incorporated into their new facility!
Next time, we have our first guest visitor; Lisa Randle, co-founder of Luna's House! More to come!
