Luna's House Update

As you should know, Produce For Piggies people are currently working with an animal rescue called Luna's House as they build their large (and permanent) Animal Care and Education Center (ACEC) where they will keep many of their animals and adoption facility, and will have a bit of a thrift store for pet supplies, and an education center (see building title). This weeks volunteer time was spent shoveling dirt! Yes, it sounds exciting, doesn't it? Well, in order to save money on a really expensive building- over 2 million dollars is going into it, and its going to be lead certified aka really "green" so we have to recycle lots and lots of things- volunteers are doing some of the work instead of the contractors. Why shovel dirt though? Because in order to put more pipes in the floor, concrete was taken out and trenches dug... and now we have to fill them in! For another service project, I am videoing this building's transformation from a used car dealership (abandoned) to Luna's House Animal Care and Education Center! This project is big- any help they can get, through donations of time and money, would be appreciated... Or if not, just tell them keep up the good work! ;)

Well I was slaving away cleaning the piggies houses (gas mask needed, or so I'm told, because after living with them, I can't smell a thing!), the boys gotta go out and mow the lawn. Unfortunately, with only my brother guarding them (with his life, like a good body guard), they needed some extra protection...

Succesfull New Logo

Question mark on this one too! Check it out, interesting design, but rather hard to get the good lettuce look... Nobody in their right mind can tell that's lettuce without being prompted... Don't know if you can see it, but the peaches/apricots/nectarines and grapes actually look pretty good! ;D 

Exotic New Logo?!?!

Still working on a fancy new logo for our blog/website/youtube channel. So far our efforts have produced a mixed result... as you can see for yourself:

 

Certainly need some work! Well, what else does a little slave have to do all day? Guess this would be my job! I'm working on it! You shall have a logo shortly!

We are currently working on songs and other tributes for animals no longer with us, through animal abuse and natural causes. We are deciding which songs to use, so were looking around for some.

Could the rainbow bridge poem be used in a song? We shall find out! 

First Taste Of Spring!

My piggy masters got their "first taste of spring" yesterday as they dinned on delicious grass. I could practically hear them squeaking their approval; "gourmet!" "exquisite!" "yummy!" "wonderful!" "delicious!" "wait- I think I'm eating a leaf..."

The weather was quite nice out, so while the little rodents munched and schemed (after all, it was a business dinner!) I worked furiously on a secret project (which may or may be a book) intended to make them rich. They reminded me repeatedly not to forget to add them, so they're in it too!

Speaking of secret projects, we are currently in the process of creating a logo for Produce For Piggies!
We've encountered minor technical difficulties that were, to my masters' surprise, not fixed by shouting at the computer, demanding it to work. We've also had a large scale "debate" about what our logo should be. The debate hasn't turned violent... yet. I can only hope it remains that way, or else who knows what trouble will commence!
